Falklands flagship HMS Hermes reaches final destination

KILLIE Harrier Road Racing specialist Keith Haining took his eagerly anticipated first steps into the Scottish Hill Racing circuit as he competed in the Kaim Hill race in Fairlie. That's Christmas done and dusted for another year, but Premier League managers still have plenty of time to unwrap any exciting new presents. With less than a week to go before the January window THE Kilmarnock Harriers fielded a number of athletes at the National Cross Country Championships in Falkirk on Saturday. Veteran aircraft carrier HMS Hermes has made her final voyage to the breakers' yard. She was the flagship of the British fleet during the Falklands war in 1982. YOUNGSTERS from Kilmarnock Harriers set new personal bests during an open graded event at Dumfries. The festive football calendar is in full swing and we're now just days away from the January transfer window opening as clubs look to strengthen for the new year ahead
